Community & Sustainability

Originated as ‘Rumah Nenek’ or Grandma’s house. The development of Imah Cimanuk is built vibrantly.
Located in Pandeglang, West Java. Imah Cimanuk is a farm stay that was founded and visioned by the late owner ‘Ibu Enok’, which is the Grandma herself. The house regularly welcomes guests, as Ibu Enok was quite a prominent figure in the area. Imah Cimanuk then expand its property by first building a ‘Majlis’ or a sitting room to gather community gathering at a larger scale, in which Ibu Enok mainly focuses in catering orphans, through social, and religious gathering.
From there, Rice paddy fields are acquired land by land, and bit by bit several bungalows are build.
Her legacy was always continued for a greater cause, where Imah Cimanuk as a farm stay
also cultivates the food corps paved by the principles of permaculture. Situated just one hour away from the famous Carita Beach, Imah Cimanuk is suitable for big groups, office outing,
family gatherings, as well as cyclist, and outdoor aficionados.
